It was on the Django in NY page right after the August show. I'll probably still go and see Tchavolo and Dorado again, but I was hoping Stochelo was going to be there.

Would have been cool to see him....there was some talk he'd be at DFNW but it didn't pan out.

After the Lincoln Center show, Pat Phillips posted the lineup with Stochelo at djangobirdland.com: I emailed her and mentioned that Tchavolo was "worth the hassle" - he is such an outstanding player as you lucky ducks shall see at DFNW!

I doubt that my say-so had anything to do with anything but I've heard that several other people who also have Pat's ear said roughly the same thing.

She does not really make any $$$ off any of this: but she knows she is providing a needed service (say what you will about the Americans on the bill at her shows) she does a great job! I saw Nick L thanked her for providing the Schmitt threesome when Bireli had to back out due to illness. Good for Nick and good for Pat!

I will probably be at Birdland Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (both shows) come by and say hello!
