I also use AER Compact 60. Sometimes DI into the board using the amp as a sort of monitor. Other times stand alone.

Just wondering, has anyone ever tried a Boss Katana?

Yeah although only with an archtop, really decent amp for the money. Personally, I would either use a tube amp or spend the $$$s on an AER for GJ playing because of how fickle the tone can be but it's hard to beat Boss's cheap modeling amps for the quality they deliver (not to mention onboard efx as well, really nice octave effect in particular)

My son has one and I’ve used it for a tube amp sound with a Kleio 47. It worked great for that! And then I’ve done stupid electric guitar stuff on it like Megadeth, Metallica, up this isn’t the forum for that. :) I don’t know about gigging with it but it’s super fun for home use.

I have an Ischell pickup with a Fishman loudbox for acoustic sounds, and then a tweed Princeton clone for electric Django.

@flaco have you ever tried an AER? I know they ain't cheap but my previous primary amp for GJ was a Fishman Loudbox...and not a day goes by where I don't feel 100% justified in spending the coin on upgrading to the AER

I’m not regularly gigging, but if I was I would definitely look up the AER! Really if I’ve got to be amplified in any way I’d almost rather just do the Stimer/Kleio through a tube amp.

I'll be the odd man out, but I'm a big Mesa Boogie amp fan (because I also play rock/fusion/metal), and have most of the Mark series amps. As such, I also have the Rosette acoustic amp in the one:ten configuration (also comes in the two:eight). It's an amazing amp, and, from what I have read, was designed by the guy who also designed the Genzler Acoustic Array guitar amp. I use this amp, or an AER60, with an AKG mic on my Selmer, and a few other guitars without electronics. It's a great sounding amp for sure. Attached is a clip of this configuration from a recent gig with the Hot Club of Buffalo (July 17th) with my Selmer.
