Good one, pdg. So I got the 7mm Wegen from Michael the other day and here's my take on it: Like all Wegens, it's a sturdy, well-made pick. I cant get the single notes to flow with it (as others suggested here), so I gave up on that pretty quickly. As for rhythm, I tried it out on a "rhythm guitar only" gig last weekend for a few songs & it seemed to be the rhythm machine that folks have said it is. But my hand is so used to the Wegen 5mm that the 7mm felt a bit foreign to me. Maybe I can get used to it with some more time with it, but I felt like I was coming home when I switched back to my trusty 5mm. Sort of like the baseball player that swings the bat with the weight on it before going to bat with the normal bat.

Do you find that you can play faster lead lines with a thinner pick? Thanks for the video, it was helpful!
