Stick in in here, don't deprive the rest of us
And yes, that's one gorgeous guitar from Rodrigo. His headstock esthetics are so pretty, simple but elegant. And that signature half crescent is his trademark and such a neat touch. Didn't Dorado pay for one of his guitars out of his own pocket after playing a loaner Shopis during NYC festival? That says a lot.
Amati Schmitt plays a Shopis to great effect. It's a lovely looking and sounding oval hole with a sunburst finish. I did a workshop with him earlier this year. I really tried to take on board what he was saying, but in doing so I stepped outside my usual way of thinking and I played absolutely dreadfully! I was attempting to think outside the box with other people listening! Arghhhhhh!
