Asheville, NC✭✭✭ Selmer #560 & 561/Dell Arte Blues Clair/Dell Arte Macias/Philippe Cattiaux Chorus/AJL Gypsy Fire/AJL Model 503/ Manuel May Custom
As I am fortunate enough to own a couple of original Selmers, one of them came with the original case. As such, I was wondering if anyone knew of a guitar case maker that could either refurbish my original Selmer case, or use mine as a template to build new Selmer style cases. It's too bad Ari from AJL doesn't sell his cases, as they are quite close to the originals in dimensions; albeit fiberglass).

Yes, this should be a no-brainer, but I got nowhere when I posed the same question in the Selmer for sale thread. What's weird is that guitar actually had a repro case--so what gives? I wound up buying one of Michael's carbon fiber cases for my new Barault Maccaferri, as I need a good tight seal for humidification in my area. Nonetheless, I think Selmer repro cases would be a terrific opportunity to fill a niche market. Please get in touch if interested in discussing it!
