Hello all

Just wanted to drop this here. Marius recorded a solo guitar album using the guitar I made. It's really beautiful. Not GJ but it's on the Grenadillo Selmer I had at DIJ and a lot of you played last year.

All fingerstyle solo guitar I think. Very intimate. Sounds like 2am to me.

And for the record I was wondering why the guitar sounds a little less shimmery than I was expecting. Marius told me that he tuned down a step.

Super interesting that he tuned down. I would’ve never thought. I’d like to get his take on why he did that.

It’s nice music and very pleasant as a whole. I was thinking how funny it is that it sounds like 2 AM to you and 6 AM to me. 🤣

Well Marius replys to my text at 10pm my time so I think his schedule is kinda old school jazz. I think he might be a 'didn't know there are two 10 o'clocks in one day' kinda person.

Well, 2AM for Paul is almost 6AM for Marius....so there's always that. 🤷‍♂️

I listened to some of it today. His playing and tunes are super nice. The guitar has clarity and focus, direct kind of sound, it's really good.
