I just got an AJL case and was wondering if you used it to travel to the USA. Did you bring the guitar on board with you, or did you check it in? If you checked it in, did everything work well?
Hi Dennis!
The AJL-cases are great, I've checked them in at the airport several times and it works fine. I even tried to stand with my full weight on the case and it lasted (maybe not something to recommend anyway..)
When I went to the States, I brought my softcase and took it with me into the aircraft. I thought that the hard-case would a bit heavy for me to carry around the streets of NYC
Check out the AJL-website (for those of you who aren't familiar with the quality guitar-work of Ari-Jukka Luomaranta) http://www.ajl-guitars.com
