Below I've posted a couple of rough tracks of my band, the Djangomatics. We were just screwing around one day...having a couple of beers and recording some stuff live to 2 mics. Not perfect, but it gives you an idea of what I sound like.

excellent. in the first track are you using just the rest stroke?

yep...100% Gypsy technique on all tracks. The only place I'm doing something non-Gypsy is in Ojos Verdes. On the intro/outro, the arpeggios are executed with a backwards sweep. Other then that it's Gypsy all the way....

So nice to hear the verse for Night and Day! I wish more people would include it; it's such a cool piece of music. And the Ojos rhythm-would you call that a tango?

Thanks....I'll be including a chart for the Tango in Vol.3 of Gypsy Rhythm which will be all about Latin stuff.

It's pretty easy...A section in just Am, Dm, and E7. The B section is ii-V-i in Dm and then ii-V-I to C Maj.
