Power tab!

There are so many useful and good transcriptions on some of the GJ sites. I use an intel mac, which is great for my home studio and all it's other techno qualities, but....... powertab files are unreadable.

Does anyone have a similar problem and, a possible solution.

If you've got a friend with a PC, you can convert the tabs to pdf files:

There is a viewer for powertab files for Mac OSX. I think it's been out for awhile, but I just found it today.

I downloaded ptb files off of http://jazz.chansons.free.fr/guitarejazz2.htm and then opened with this program. I don't see any "save as" features, which would let me export as a PDF etc, but maybe that only kicks in with the full version. I will order tomorrow.

For a Mac-dork like me this is very exciting!!!

czecko this works a treat. I can save the files and alter the file extension so that it just finishes as .ptb, (not .ptb.txt) then the shareware version opens the file no problem. At last. Brilliant, well done for spotting this and thanks.
