New CD!!!
between the 7th and 9th of november, i recorded a second CD... this time as a rhythm guitar player for Chriss Campion and Aurélien Trigo..
Chriss Campion comes from the Yorgui Loeffler school but has a lot of his own interesting ideas... he is often seen accompanying moreno or playing with serge krief and am ketenes...
Aurelien Trigo is one of the best jazz violinists from the new generation that i've seen... he's a disciple of Didier Lockwood, Florin Niculescu and Costel Nitescu... he often plays with the group Am Ketenes, Pommes De Ma Douche, David Reinhardt, Gypsy Colors (Adrien Moignard's former group), Rodolphe Raffali, among many others...
I will post clips this week when my new website and my first CD launches...
the repertoire is very original... only 2 "cliché" standards (one with a nice twist), the rest is all compositions from the new generation of gypsy jazz players (Serge Krief, Samson Schmitt, Ninine Garcia etc....)
