    hey Pag, are you still using that dg-255, and do you have any other gypsy jazz guitars? (or plan to upgrade)

    Pooltalent, eh.., yes I am still playing that dg255, I wouldn't mind upgrading but it's hard to run into a guitar that has exactly the sound one is looking for. In Holland there isn't an overkill in available gypsyguitars.
    But that's probably nowhere on the planet apart from the regular stuff.
    We have some good luthiers in Holland but somehow I do not want a guitar that I cannot try before buying.., maybe you guys recognize the problem

    I met a French guy this year, he came from Paris and payed me a visit in the Hague, he had this D-hole, unknown luthier, an absolutely beautifull sounding guitar, it just had that old vintage sound, unfortunately he did not want to sell...

    Dennis, I like the sound of your guitar too, the recordings you made are really great. What guitar are you playing on?
