GJ artwork?

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question - sorry in advance if that's the case.

I've been trying to find some nice GJ artwork online with no success. I'm thinking in terms of concert poster reproductions or other GJ related posters, similar to those found in Michael Dregni's latest book. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Ski,

Is this for your personal enjoyment, or commercial use?

Hi - Personal enjoyment. I'd like to have something GJ related to hang in my home office.

Andrew Lawrence probably has some posters from the various Django in June fests...you can reach him via www.djangoinjune.com or by writing <!-- e --><a href="mailto:andrew@communityguitar.com">andrew@communityguitar.com</a><!-- e -->

Dan Kinter also has a pdf of the poster from Djangofest Northeast available free HERE

I'm sure there's more out there, too...a lot of individual bands have downloadable posters, e.g. http://www.manomanouche.com/locandina_e.html
and there's certainly a decent amount of images out there that are good enough to print out as a smallish poster...mat it, throw it in a frame, et voilà.

    Happy hunting,
    Jack.

Don't know if you'd be interested, but there happens to be a movie poster for Gadjo Dilo up on Ebay right now. You would have to get it mounted on styrofoam to remove the creases, but it is rather nice.

There is a print painted of Django '53 (With guitar, stove, fishing rods, and of course red socks), by Chris Alan Daniels in Tempe AZ. You can order it directly from him.

He's a fine GJ guitarist also...

Michael, how about contacting him about selling them on Django Books?

I'm always looking out for music art, as well. www.**** has some posters, and gypsyguitars.com has some art, if I recall. There are also the prints sold by Robin Nolan on his site.
