if the people who make/design the Manouche Guitars are reading this, I have a question which has been on my mind for a long time as I look at many of the cheaper archtops being made now. Why not put a real sunburst finish on it?

even Gibson has been guilty of bad sunbursts recently, and the "sunburst" that goes right to the edge of the guitar is much less attractive.

just wanted to add to my post above that I am not meaning to attack manouche guitars in any way or to disparage their product. It is just that this question has been on my mind for some time and this is the first time I have potentially had the opporunity to question a manufacturer directly.
