Michael Dregni's Django - Illustrated History of Gypsy Jazz
Just received this great new book, with some amazing photos and history of gypsy jazz. Did I miss something or is there no mention of any of the UK Gypsy Jazz groups or major UK festivals on the scene?...seems like he mentions numerous US bands? No mention of Colin Cosimini, Gary Potter, UltraSwing, Club Tabou, Vipers Dream, LeQ, ...L'espirit Manouche and the IGGF et. al.? There's a huge scene in the UK, which seems to have been left out of his book. Please correct me if I'm mistaken? ~ Cheers, Phil
