Any reason why you decided to use a humbucker instead of a single coil pickup?

I like the tone of the humbucker and can get a great jazz tone with it. I have another guitar with single coil and I just like the humbucker tone more for jazz stuff. Plus when I have the switch in the center so I am using the Humbucker and bridge pickup I can get a nice bright, clear tone. It's a very interesting combo. This mod has made this guitar into three guitars in one when amplified and I can use it unplugged too! Too much fun.

I'll try and get some recordings up soon.

Ahh.. Thanks for reminding me. I have one I just need to get it from my friend. I'll bug him again about it and try and get something up.
