Hi Jon, nice site. Though please correct me if I missed it in the Biography it states: "Things didn’t take off with this style of music until two things happened in Portland: 1) Pearl Django released their first album in 1995, and 2) Robin Nolan released his first standards book in mid-2001."
Did you forget to mention Pete Krebs and his huge influence on the Django resurgence in Portland? Pete was at the forefront with his bands: Kung Pao Chickens and Django's Tigers and last but not least, Pete initiated the fantastic Djams back in 2004(?) at the Moon and Sixpence, without which we all wouldn't have met and all the off-shoot Gypsy Jazz bands would not have been formed.
