Does anybody see the difference in Django's strings? The A string looks thinner than the D!? and the GBE are incredibly thin...

This is feeding my thoughts on the mystery of his sound. I might sound more dumb now but is it possible that he could use a total mix of gauges? I am starting to think he may even use a different one for the Gstring, like don't bluegrass swop the G for a thin E? so its not wound like the b and e?
And what are GUT strings? :roll:
