It's a guitar from the late 30s, a D hole, 12 frets. I'm not sure about the wood. It's exceptionnel for its age, easy to play, big sound with a lot of caracter, it's a unic, a collection guitar. I got it from the father of my aunt who used to play in Paris at that time, he met Django who, that's what he always used to tell me, tried the guitar.
It's in a perfect shape, except a little crack on the side, nothing bad, it doesn't affect the sound and it probabely won't be too expensive to fix.
I will sell it with an MG4 clip pickup, artisanaly made in Paris with a preamp that eliminates feedback, excellent natural sound. I used the guitar with this pickup many times in concert.
I am ready to let go everything for 3500$, with a natural turtle shell pick.
