I picked up the new cd from the Hot Club of San Francisco yesterday at Virgin , (sorry Michael, if Django Books had it I would of bought it from you).

I think they've been around longer then any other American gypsy jazz group, and it shows in this album. Probably the best they have done. Pauls lead playing on Rythm Futur is the best he's done.

Yes, I just got that too right before I came out to Shanghai. i think it's safe to assume I have the only copy out here. That group swings so freakin' hard! The title track is a great composition and every one of the other 17 tracks! is great old school sound. The last one Postcards from Gypsyland was awesome but I think this is their crowning acheivement thus far. I really like it.
