Create a «rendez-vou» in Italy!

Ok everybody!

My name is Gabriel and I live in Italy! But I'm not italian. I'm canadian. The summer is coming and I was thinking to something nice! All the italians who play «swing manouche» should give them a «rendez-vous» in some place in Italy.

Last year I went to Torino and there was some people who was playing together but where they are now? The italians say often that there's a lot of jazz in this country! What about the gypsy jazz? Me I live in Friuli and it's the whorst place I never found! The Friuli is dying! I'm searching for musicians and I'm able to go to Rome or Milan for a week-end. Where do you play?

Anyway! We should all go in «villa borghese» or in an other free place like that to make a nice jam! Who can organize this?

When I think that the last CD of Jacopo Martini «viene venduto solo in Francia, mi dico proprio che mi sono sbagliato venendo ad abitare in Italia». Is it true anyway? I'm not even sure about what I just did say! I hope that I'm wrong!

Sorry... But this summer we could meet somewhere to play the music of Django! Non? It should be great! Just to make the «vibrant gypsy jazz scece in Italy» a liittle more vibrant... Me be this is just me who is far from everything... Here it seems non vibrant at all...

Hi Gabriel. I live in Rome, and i like your idea, it sounds really good. I think we can talk about it around June and organize some jam here in Rome or somewhwere. Let's start spreading the voice, i'm opening a new topic about the meeting.
