    Hi Bill,

    Glad to hear it was a help. I'm not sure, but I think Joe may have meant something different; I can't think of a tune where I've seen that particular move. Assuming it's not a typo, though, I think I'd try one of these-reading m=middle, i=index, r=ring, p=pinkie, T=thumb:

    --p----
    --p----
    --i----
    --r----
    --i----
    -m----

    or:

    --p----
    --p----
    -m-----
    -r-----
    -i-----
    -T-----

    I was thinking of the second version Jack mentions here as it moves up from the G69 that was originally talked about. So the thumb plays the low A (5th fret E-string). It gives you a very full and rich sounding A9 chord that I'm sure you can use somewhere :-) I use that move in Manoir sometimes...
