I have all the Real Books and they seem pretty useful for the 'jazz standards', they pop up for sale on ebay from time to time. Will have to investigate the Cosimini volumes though. Are these quite authentic?
They're a great resource for all the standards. Often they're written in the same keys that Gypsy use, so you can get a lot of use from them. But you'll have to reverse engineer the changes to make them sound more trad. (i.e. Maj7 = Maj6).
We also have the mini gig bag versions...these have saved my ass on the gig numerous times!
