Can someone help me and my friend Marco to find this film?
I attach his first request:
I'm looking for this film made in 1950, with Django. This film was produced by two professional dancers and actors, Yvette Marguerie and Alberto Spadolini. Nice story: I discovered that Alberto Spadolini was the uncle of a close friend of mine, the great bass players Stefano Travaglini. Me and Stefano play often together in various bands, and we are also collegues at the Scuola Jazz Cesena where we teach regularly.
Yesterday, incidentally, at school during an interval he told me about his uncle... there is another relative of him who is collecting information about the dancer uncle, in order to write a book or something like this.
Alberto Spadolini was a pro dancer before and after the war, emigrated to Paris, and it seems that he was in close touch with a lot of important French artists like Josephine Baker and Django indeed.
I've found only this web info

Anyone know where to find the "RIVAGE DE PARIS" film ???
Thank you for your help! Ciao MARCO

I'll try and look around. I do have Django's archives as far as 1983. Maybe I'll come up with something.

Is the film with Django as an actor or his music?
However the same site indicates that Django was involved with Carmen Amaya in 1952 in the film "Souvenir d'Espagne" maybe the tune Echoes of Spain was played there ...
In another site they say that Django had cooperated with Spadolini for the making of the film "Nous les Gitans" ...
