Natale Condognotto, in art Natalino Otto was born in Cogoleto (Genova) in the 1912, dead in Milano in 1969.

He was the first swing-singer in Italy, he starts as a singer and musician in the clubs in his region (Liguria) but like other singers and musician for the training of his career he had to leave home, in the 30s working on the transatlantics (Europe-Nord America) . This experience made him to know the new music like Swing and Jazz.

Infact he have singed a lot of american tunes changing the namesfor example : "stardust_polvere di stelle", or "st louis blues_la tristezza di s. luigi".

the national radiophonic station the EIAR, didn't put on his music that they call "neger's anti-music".

Excluse by the radio, he decided to start work with the records, and he made records in collaboration with a lot of musician and directors like Gorni Kramer or Pippo Barizza.
