Any Strings FAQ?

On some tailpieces (like on my Castallucia) the ball ends vibrate against the tailpiece producing some unwanted high pitch noises so I choose loop ends...

I've used both with no noticeable difference. I think the loop ends look cooler tho and like @Jazzaferri says, they're easier to change. I'm a string breaker.
