La Bella .011-.052 700ML's solve string-slap

robertsaundersrobertsaunders Brookline, MA✭✭✭✭ 2007 Gitane DB-255
Anybody else tried these? I was getting a lot of string slap in the lower ranges with Argentine .011-.046's on my Gitane DG-255. My luthier added height to the bridge and recommended I try LaBella .011-.052's, and they solved the problem quite nicely. I actually don't notice a diminution in quality of sound from the Argentines, which I've only heard raves about. Good sound is good sound.
