Error found in Gypsy Picking

I don't know if this is the correct place to say this, but I'm not sure where is. On example 2.2, the ascending chromatic lick, when ascending on the E string with the 2nd finger, the 8th fret is skipped. This could be intentional, but I'm guessing it isn't.
