New Wegen Picks!

A load of cool new Wegen picks just came in.

The most interesting is the Button pick. When I was studying with the Gypsies I noticed that most of them , especially the rhythm players, preferred picks with extreme wear. To the extent that there the point of the pick was reduced to a diagonal slope. This is especially true of rhythm players.



I've seen a drawing of one of Django's picks which also had the same wear. For that reason I asked Michel Wegen to make some "pre-worn" picks. Well, he's finally done it! I think the new Button pick will be a big hit!

Is this a different 'Button' than was available before? I've got a couple that seem great for rhythm, but they feel just a bit small for my hands (not a whole lot to grab onto, and no thumb depression). Here's an old post about mine: http://www.hotclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1720

Yes, it's the same. They've had them in Europe a little longer then here.

What's the Dipper pick like? I can't see it too well from the photos.

The Dipper's are a more rounded, hole less version of the TF series. They're in the smaller sizes 1.0mm to 1.8mm. For heaveir Triangular picks the Trimus is the way to go.
