Fingering for mm 71,80

Michael,

Thanks for the great book. Really well-done as everything else I've purchased from you.

I had a question about how to finger measures 71 and 80, the descending chromatic scales. In the Gypsy Picking book you indicate using a 3-2-1 fingering for the left-hand (example 13.1)whereas in the Unaccompanied book you suggest a sliding 2nd finger. Just wondered which is the preferred way or if they are interchangeable...

Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Chip...I assume you're talking about Impro.#1. In general I do find using the 3-2-1 fingering easier for descending runs. But those ones are pretty fast and sort of glissed...so the 2 finger approach works pretty well.

    Yes I am talking about Improv. #1, sorry forgot to mention that. Thanks, I'll try that 2 finger then.

    It seems that every book I get from you is better than the last one!
