Also, I want to get a Django-guitar. Where can I get one, and what's the price? I have only played for three years, and I don't know anything about guitars :P
I'd concentrate mostly on the exercises in the book for the first several months. You won't be able to play very fast for a while, so it's best not to rush into anything to quickly. If you get bored, I'd practice simple melodies with the rest stroke technique. That way you're learning tunes and practicing technique. Try Nuages, Manoir, Tears, etc. Ballad are best.
