I just read that Georg van Eps had somehow "similar right hand technique" than GP. Does anybody know what that exactly means?

Hi...George, like just about every other player in the pre-electric era, used the rest stroke picking technique. Django, and nearly all Gypsy jazz players today use the same technique.
