Hi All - wonder if anyone else saw the great documentary last night on OPS American Masters on the life of Les Paul. Fantastic documentary. He's 94 and still going strong and playing a weekly gig at Iridium in NYC! He discussed his inventions for the electric guitar and showed a room with his guitar collection and he pulled out a Selmer which may or may not have been given him by Django, it wasn't clear to me. However he talked about Django and his influence on his own music...he said that when he first heard Django he thought it was time to give up playing the guitar and start selling shoes! It will repeat at 3am this Friday.
