how am I supposed to enjoy free videos ripped from a DVD that I bought? what kind of person rips copyrighted videos from a DVD and then posts them on the internet for free?

The info on youtube says it's from the North Sea Jazz Fest in '94, but it's actually from the '92 fest, which is available for sale on this DVD (with the '94 as well):

I understand what you're saying but a couple of videos on the internet won't make anybody to change their minds about buying the DVD, on the contrary it will help I think. I mean how many people would know about the rosenberg trio or bireli if it wasn't for youtube posts. It's getting more popular everyday because of these videos. That's how I found about gypsy jazz. don't talk so selfish, just because you bought the dvd.

PS: i'm sure you don't have any problem watching copyrighted videos on youtube that you don't have on dvd.
