Hi,
Has anyone experience of the "Slowgold" (slowgold.com) software for slowing down music tracks?
On another, but related topic (see my topic in "Gypsy Repertoire"), does anyone know of a transcription (standard notation and/or tab) of Django's great solo on "Moonglow" recorded on the 21st October 1934? It's listed as track 15 on Vol 4 of the Integrale Django Reinhardt series by Fremeaux & Associes.

Once you have the player from Winamp.com you can add a slow downer plug-in called chronotron, available here;
http://winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=138562
The new version of chrontron has both time and tempo stretching, individual as well as working them together.
There is another plug-in called Loop Master that loops sections of tracks, you simply select the start and finish points.
Its available here; http://www.companyinfo.com/loopmaster/
The best part is you can run both of these plug-ins at the same time, so that you can slow down a section and loop it, maintaining the key.
And the price is right as well....

Thanks for all the helpful advice - really useful to get the advantage of everyone's views and experience.
Although as nobody has yet mentioned a transcription of "Moonglow", I guess I've got to (a) buy a copy of Transcribe, and (b) knuckle down and work a version out myself!
I know - it'll be 'character building'.
Cheers,
Stuart
