just wanted some advice about the arpeggio excersises in romane's "l'esprit manouche" book. i'm a noobie to manouche style. but wondering when i'm beginning to learn these arpeggios should i use a chord shape with my left hand or rather finger through all the notes of the arpeggio seperately. hope its clear what i mean. many thanks

I think I understand. The way Romane shows it in his book is to explain you that arpeggios are logically related to the chords, that's why they're explained in parallel. The idea is to give you the feeling that when you know your chart, you know the chords so you already have a strong basis for soloing. But when you play arpeggios you don't have to have the whole chord ready, you can play each note at a time and not let them ring.
Romane wants you to visualise it, but you don't have to play the whole chord.
Hope I answered your question.
