I want to buy a gypsy guitar, but I'd like to try one first

So I think I'm ready to take the plunge, but I'd like to test drive a few models before I make the purchase.

Does anyone know of some Seattle area locations where I might be able to put my hands on one. My budget is under a grand, so I'm thinking Gitane.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a few at our warehouse in Tacoma. But they come and go very fast. In Seattle there are none....Dusty Strings used to have a few but they stopped selling Gypsy guitars.

You might want to ask Jacques Mazolenni about his Patenottes 256.
They're good guitars and have a great gypsy sound made in France.
He's very nice and easygoing.

I am already signed up for a wiffleball tournament in Ellensburg the same weekend as Djangofest. Talk about torn. My brother said it was like having both your girlfriends show up at your house at the same time.
