Hi all,

For those who don't have the $100 to drop on the Contextual Bio-Discography, the publisher has made part of it available for free online via Google Books. Have a look; it's a real treasure trove of info:

For instance, there's mention of some 8mm home movie footage shot by Harry Volpe:

"Reportedly shows Harry Volpe walking down a street with Django Reinhardt near the Henry Hudson hotel, Reinhardt and Volpe playing together and eating spaghetti with friends, and Reinhardt leaving for Paris by boat."

Is this out there, and I've just missed it, or does 'reportedly' mean that no one beside Volpe has seen it?

You can see the Henry Hudson sequence HERE. I have the "leaving for Paris by boat" bit but I do not know anyone who has seen the spaghetti footage.
