Now that I´ve started playing this style I´ve been considering getting my hand on a gypsy guitar. I´ve been playing my wee 12 fret mahogany martin which actually sounds quite nice for rhythm. It obviously doesn´t have a gypsy sound and it suffers a bit with a real heavy pick. I´m unsure if its money well spent on a guitar…

Jack- Cool man I'll check it out. I don't know that they have an ethnomusicology program although it might be part of their Anthropology dept. I'll have to look.
