Hi all,
I've got the itch to host another jam sometime soon...any interest? I'm in Easthampton, MA (01027). Last time around we had bass, violin, accordion, cello, mandolin, vocals, and the usual assortment of guitars. This time we might have my friend Dave on his kitchen percussion setup of washboard, spatula, and various pots & pans...
I'd like to do it before the end of the year-let me know if anyone's interested!
best,
Jack.

I'm looking at the weekend of November 16-18 for the next Jam at
Jack's...my band might book a gig in the next few days, so I won't
have an exact date until later this week, but I'm hoping to make it
happen one of those weekend days. I hope you all can keep it open!
More to come...
best,
Jack.
It looks like the final date will be Sunday November 18th; there's already a jam in Salem on the 16th, and I'll probably have a gig on the 17th. I'm thinking we'll start things up at about 2pm on Sunday, and we can go as late as anyone wants-I'm a night owl, and I've got very understanding neighbors. If anyone's driving a long way, feel free to get in touch about coming earlier to make it more worthwhile.
As always, feel free to bring food or drink, and I'll have a separate room available for smoking (a vice of mine). Finally, whoever travels the longest distance will receive some sort of prize-a rare CD, some hard to find sheet music, or some other gypsy jazz rarity, depending on what you want. And if anyone's looking for a new instrument, I've got an oval hole Selmac and an Alvarez archtop for sale-both are under $800. Hope to see some of you here!
best,
Jack.
(for directions, your destination is 39 Union St apt 2, Easthampton MA, 01027)
(update: the archtop has already sold.)
Sorry about this, but the date for the jam at my place has changed to
Saturday November 17th. We'll still start around 2pm. Everything
else remains the same...feel free to contact me for any
info/directions.
best,
Jack.
