Artificial harmonics - What works best for you ?

Dear all,

I am currently working on the harmonics at the beginning of the chorus in Nuages, and I am wondering if there is a right way to do it ?
I learned to do that a while ago, at the time I was playing Ozzy Osbourne !!
With the pick and the flesh of my thumb. I found that it works pretty well for the nuages solo. But I know some of you might keep the pick between the thumb and the middle finger and play the harmonics with the index finger.
I feel like I get as much volume with both techniques.

So is there a gypsy way to do it ? Or, as long as it works, it doesn't matter ?

Indeed, thank you. And I also saw Dorado Schmitt doing it as shown in Yann's website. I tried the two techniques, the one done with tip of the finger gives more volume than when you do it with the thumb.
    Thanks again !
