    Obviously an interesting specimen! Looks like the luthier used some styles from maybe other regions like the inlaid rosette which is common from Hora Mfg in Romania and somewhat of a stiff looking bridge/moustache combination and mixed in his own idea about decoration on the rosette long tail.
    My only exposure to an EKO instrument was back in the mid 60's when I tried to jam with a navy kid with a blonde archtop that was so out of intonation against my '55 Gibson ES-295 that we quit after 15 minutes. He was a decent player though.
    I'd certainly like to tryout that instrument though!

    There is another one of those at Palm guitars. The one at palm is a bit different then this one.

    It looks very similar to my EKO fretless ABG. If you go to http://www.ekobass.co.uk/gallery.html you can see some other examples - my particular one doesn't have the funky bridge or "note" rosette, but you can't have everything! ;)
