Anyone out there know the dates for the Django in June(MASS)
week long workshops in 2008? Trying to work out my Calender,
my group is booking up for next year and I don't want to miss out next Junes workshops.
Thanks,
Jeff Griffith

I talked with Andrew about two weeks ago, and he said he hoped to have the dates "in a couple of weeks", so I think we'll hear something soon. I expect he'll post it here, and he mentioned he would e-mail everyone from last tear who left an e-mail addy.
I've never been a guitar player, but I've played one on stage.

I understand from Andrew that the dates for this year are June 10-15. He'll be getting official word out soon.

Andrew is still firming up the lineup and concert/workshop schedule, but right now it looks like we'll have:
Robin Nolan
Ensemble Zaiti
Kruno & Vlado
Gonzalo
Jean Pierre Watremez
Michael Horowitz
Matt Glaser
John McGann
Simon Planting
For all the details, keep an eye on www.djangoinjune.com and the new myspace at www.myspace.com/djangoinjune where you can also see photos and watch video from last year's festival. It looks like another great year coming up!
Hey folks:
Thanks both to those with questions and answers about next year's Django in June and Django Camp. Although I am still firming up details, all the info above is as good as I've got. Smith College has confirmed June 10-15 (early arrival for a helluva pre-Camp jam night on Monday the 9th is also an option).
We should be back in the same big beautiful dorms as last year, which means private rooms for almost everyone and lots of space for clinics and jams right in the same building.
Jack's list of teachers and performers is my wish list and I have at least preliminary thumbs' up from all of them. Other great players and teachers that I would love to invite have expressed interest as well but everything depends, of course, on registration. Jack and I hope to have the website updated and ready to start taking registrations by early January.
Please make sure I have your contact info if you would like to be in the loop as updates become available. My email address is andrew AT communityguitar.com. Phone is 413-268-0068.
Cheers,
Andrew
