My problem is that, since im lefty,i have to buy the guitar without playing it first, because they dont have it on stock and they have to make it for me.
So i have to choose between the manouche hand crafted model and the dupont MD50.Can anyone help me with the choice?
wich guitar do you think is more worth it?

The regular production Manouche Guitars are available in left-hand models. That would be the 12 fret D, 14 fret D and 14 fret oval hole.
They are less costly than the hand-crafted guitars.
I think that DuPont and Manouche both make great guitars,
[Full disclosure, I am a dealer rep for Manouche].
I would advise you to try to play as many different brands
as you can. Keep in mind too that if you play ten guitars,
Manouche, DuPont, Gitane, etc. you will usually find some variation
in quality within the brand. Take your time and try to at least hear the brands that you are interested in. Maybe you can get someone to play
a rhighty Dupont and Manouche. there are mp3's of the Manouche guitars on the UK site. the web address is www.manouche-guitars.com
You can email me thru this site if you want more info.
Also, the bottom line is that you have to be happy with the guitar.
Good luck,
Barry
Jacques Mazzoleni at www.gypsyguitars.com has a Lefty Dupont MD100.
He offers a trial period so you can make sure you like the guitar.
If you are in Europe there's one here as well
