I once was opposed to the bolt on neck for aesthetic reasons, too. But having paid the bill for neck resets on various Martins and Gibsons I had over the years, if I ever buy another new guitar it's going to have a bolt on neck. Nowadays it's being done so well and so invisibly, that aesthetic considerations don't factor for me any more. It's one of those things like laminated back and sides - once you get used to the idea and the reasoning behind it, it makes perfect sense. My 2 cents...
I own a Dupont Nomade D-Hole and it is easy to play and very, very loud. Wonderful entry level guitar, though it has not the clarity and sweetness of a Dupont MD 50. But for the price it is the best entry level guitar I can imagine (compared to others I tried)
Bolt on neck is not beautiful, but very practically (transport, neck reset with shims).
