Local Olivier Marin for 1700 euro?

So, I found an Olivier Marin "petite bouche" selling locally for 1,700 euro.

Can someone fill me in on these? Is the price reasonable? How is the consistency.

I'll go try it out as soon as I can but I've got no other higher end models to compare it with. Only other guitars I can find here are Gitanes.

    Hey,
Sebastien Giniaux, Adrien Moignard and Mathieu Chatelain of Ensemble Zaiti and Norig are some of the best of the younger players in Paris and they all play Marin guitars. They sound great in their hands!!!
If you do a google search for them you should find some sound samples and videos of them playing.

I've never played one personally but from what I could tell they are really, really good.
I met Olivier at Samois two years ago and he's very nice. He sells those new starting at $2700 euro so for 1000 less I think you're getting a good deal.
If possible try before you buy...
Anyway, I bet they are much nicer than any Gitane, no doubt.

Good luck and tell us how it turns out.
