Watch out with those Planet Waves humidifiers as they tend to mold easily when conditions allow. In fact, I bought two of them when I used to keep my guitars in their cases and had to throw both of them away because of a bit of mold growing inside the foam...and I was even using distilled water. Now I have a music room in my house that I keep a room humidifier in, as well as the house humidifer hooked up to our ventilation system, which seems to work much better not only for my guitars but for my violins.

As HCPhilly pointed out, I have also heard good things about the Oasis humidifier, and that it seems to be quite mold resistant.
