Because of the fast turnaround for guitar sales at DjangoBooks, a number of customers have been asking to consign their guitars here. I'm now officially taking consignments for a 20% fee. The first several consigned guitars sold in less then 24 hours, while similar guitars that were just posted in the classified or on eBay languished for months. DjangoBooks now gets 2000 unique visitors a day so anything posted on the main site goes very, very fast. However, the forum only gets about 100-200 unique visitors a day, hence you get much less exposure here. Additionally, we get about a dozen general inquiries a day for people looking for Gypsy jazz guitars. If your guitar is consigned with us it won't take long to find a customer for it.
