Hey everyone. So last year in august my computer died a hard death. I finally got a new one last month or so, like a lot of you I had a ton of transcriptions on my other machine that I had collected over the years mostly in powertab and tabedit form. I had a friend of mine take all my files from my old dead computer and back them up on DVDs. Now here is the kicker. My new computer is a MacBook. are those files now useless to me? are there mac version of those programs (I am really new to the mac thing so I am still learning to use the damn thing.) I have Sibelius is there a way to convert those files to that? Any help from other Mac users here would be great.
Thanks guys

Powertab is a PC software, but either way you can open them from various softwares like Tuxguitar, Tabview or Tablatures...Or import them to Guitar Pro.
Tabledit has a version for Mac.

Simply google those names, you'll find the softwares easily.

Guitar Pro is awesome. Just import the powertabs and they open just fine.
