Hola Forum,

A fellow gadjo passed this chart into my hands and I figured it was only fair to pass it over--keep in mind they are up for alterations/etc. Hope you enjoy!
If anyone knows what to tremolo over the B section or any fills/tricks exist please share with the rest of the class. Adios!

Such a beautiful tune, isn't it? For those new to it, that B diminished is also often thought of as G7, or G7b9. And for those interested, there's a take on a Bireli chorus here:

This song reminds me of St. James Infirmary...

It's also really similar to Angel Eyes.

I still wonder if the 2nd chord isn't F#7b9 or Gdim
It sure is easier to think of it that way.
    Thanks

As always you should listen to the bass to help work out chords. For Django's version the bass plays B, Csharp, D , G for the first 4 chords, which are:

    Bm, A9/Csharp, Bm/D, G7

    regards

In Bm, I'd just think Em for the second chord...

Well , yes, Em/Csharp is OK for accompaniment - that's what I play chord wise.
But surely the A in the melody doesn't really fit an Em chord?

Anyway no time for splitting hairs - I was just posting what's on the Django version. There are many ways to play Si Tu Savais , savvy? :-)

    regards

I don't know; I kind of like playing this m6/9 voicing under it:

    -2-
    -2-
    -0-
    -2-
    -2-optional
    -x-

    ...it gives the A a certain...piquancy?
