He's a French Luthier based in Milan. I know the guitar you' re talking about but never tried it. Being a Jumbo, I asked Donadini once if it was modeled after a Favino and he answered me: "non offendermi!" He told me he used different bracing, air volume, form... so we' re not talking a strictly traditional Selmer style guitar. I'm not saying this is bad or good, just be aware of that. Donadini has an atelier in Milan (it's in Via Volta, I think) so maybe the most reasonable thing would be to ask him to try some guitars before you buy one. Once you're in Milan, you could also try some DUPONT here:

Incidentally, Lucio is a fantastic luthier himself.

    Hope it helps!

Come diceva la storiella: ma se siamo italiani tutti e due, perchè parliamo Inglese?

I think mostly to facilitate life for the others

I'll be sure to check both those places out... I am sceptical of too much innovation, but you never know, right?

    Grazie comunque.
